Wedding procession

How will Masood ruin the happy day?

It's the day of the Mehndi and everyone gets ready for the procession around The Square. Afia looks stunning and all their friends and family come out to join them for their day. As the processions progress Yusef puts his arm around Tamwar’s shoulder. The gesture, as well as the fact that Christian is invited and he isn’t, makes Masood’s blood run cold as he watches them from a distance. However tensions rise later when Masood arrives - will Tamwar and Afia be forced to reveal they are already married?

A chink in the armour?

Zainab lets her guard down momentarily with Syed. How will Christian react?

Masood and Zainab are trying to pretend that everything is ok infront of Tamwar. Zainab isn't feeling well but still goes to work at the Minute Mart. Syed arrives and, knowing that everything isn't ok with his parents, tries to suggest to Zainab that she and his father get some help but Zainab refuses forcing Syed to snap. Zainab starts to cry and for a moment they come together but Zainab pushes him away insisting she is fine. Christian is watching and thinks Zainab is being unfair to Syed, he interrupts them but is left hurt when Syed tells him to stay out of it.

Syed's life hangs in the balance

Disaster strikes at the Argee Bhajee.

It's the night of Tamwar and Afia's Mangni (engagement party) and plans are in full swing.  Greg tries to fix the damage at the Argee Bhajee before that night's celebrations but he warns Masood the extension is dangerous and the restaurant should be closed until it has been repaired.  Masood foolishly decides to ignore his advice and go ahead with the party.

Zainab interferes (again)

Poor Tamwar faces yet more interfering from Zainab as she tries to find him a suitable wife

Tamwar is set to go mad when he learns what Zainab is up to now - he thinks she's interviewing girls for a waitress job at the Argee Bhajee (which they now own), but in true Zee style that's not the case.

He spots his friend Zulekha in the queue and asks why she's looking for a job at the restaurant. She tells him that Zee has told everyone that she's not just looking for a waitress, she wants to find Tamwar a suitable wife.
