Roxy has Christmas dinner worry

EastEnders’ Roxy Slater is to have her Christmas ruined by Suzy Branning before it has even begun.

Rita Simons has revealed that Suzy - played by Maggie O’Neill - tells Roxy she has seen the paternity test results for her baby Amy while they are peeling spuds for Christmas Dinner.

Rita said: "Amy is definitely not Sean’s.

"Roxy doesn’t think that anyone else has seen the paternity test results, so up until Christmas Day everything is hunky dory.

Suzy tells Phil she's pregnant

EastEnders hardman Phil Mitchell is in for a shock - when girlfriend Suzy Branning tells him she is pregnant.

Phil (Steve McFadden) has moved in with the trouble-making blonde (Maggie O'Neill) but is starting to get cold feet.

Suzy drops the baby bombshell, but it's not long until Phil gets suspicious. An insider said: "Suzy says she's pregnant but knowing how manipulative she is, it could be a ploy to keep Phil.

"Suzy makes herself unpopular to the point where she’s not welcome in Albert Square."

Summer (not so) Special

And so, Phil Mitchell pulled the lid off his own Pandora's Box and flung the contents everywhere. I anticipated a complete meltdown, but all we had was crisis-lite. It started promisingly, with poor Ben, wild eyed with fear and Phil losing control; his outburst about being beaten by his own father and anger towards his mother seemed to be leading to a big confrontation with Peggy. But it didn't happen, instead we had a flat bit of dialogue between him and Archie, full of pull yourself together/draw a line under it codswallop.

EastEnders' summer of red hot plots

EastEnders bosses are apparently promising viewers a summer of red hot plots.

The residents of Albert Square are going to be rocked by a series of dramas and romances, according to the Daily Star.

A source told the paper: "Fans won't know what has hit them with these plots."

Max Branning - played by Jake Wood - apparently returns to Walford after daughter Abi (Lorna Fitzgerald) sends him a text pretending to be from his wife Tanya begging him to come home.

They’re all bonkers!

When Reenie Branning was pregnant, did she dine on oysters and listen to James Brown’s ’Sex Machine’ on a continuous loop?

'Shameless' actress joins 'EastEnders'

Maggie O'Neill has joined the cast of EastEnders as another member of the ever-growing Branning clan.

O'Neill, known for her role as Sheila Jackson in Channel 4's Shameless, will play Suzy Branning, the fourth oldest of the six Branning children - Jack (Scott Maslen), Max (Jake Wood) Carol, Derek and April being her siblings.
