Laila Morse to compete in Dancing in Ice

Laila is favourite to be given the boot first though, so watch her while you can! 

Laila Morse has laughed off claims from her family that she is too old to appear in the new series of Dancing On Ice – which starts on Sunday – explaining that she’s doing it to entertain people.

At 66, the EastEnders star is the oldest contestant in this year's series. The grandmother-of-five, who plays Mo Harris in the BBC1 soap, said: "My family all think I'm a nutcase. They say, 'How can you skate Nan, at your age?' But I'm going to give it a go and put my soul into it."

Mo takes full advantage of Tyler's special offer.

Tyler gives Alfie a hand behind the bar and decides to try his hand at some cocktail making. To generate some business, he decides to do a special offer of 2 for 1 and cheekily suggests that he may even throw in a free kiss. Mo decides to pass on the cocktail and go straight in for the kiss.

"Tyler decides to help Alfie out in The Vic and thinks he can get the ladies in by offering 2 for 1 cocktails and a kiss! He is shocked when Mo takes his words literally and goes in for the kill!"

The alleged killer of two French students tried to burgle the home of an EastEnders actress hours before the brutal murders, the Old Bailey heard yesterday. Dano Sonnex talked about robbing "Mo Harris’s" south London home, according to co-defendant Nigel Farmer. Jurors were told earlier that an attempted burglary took place at the home of actress Maureen Bass - stage name Laila Morse - that same night.
