Trust the competitive Syed to go one better than his girlfriend, Amira. Last week she fell out of her hiding place in his bedroom wardrobe - and on Friday he spectacularly falls out of the closet.

Who would have thought there was anything ambivalent about his sexual orientation when he arrived as the new hunk on the Square? But when Bushra remarks that it’s surprising Christian is still "a bachelor" at her party, all sorts of secrets are revealed.

"What can I say?" he smoulders. "Haven’t met the right man yet."

His admission that he’s gay causes outrage and Syed is quick to tell him, "It’s against God’s will". But Christian is furious to be treated as an outcast.

"Go on, go off," he tells Syed. "Marry yer little princess... What exactly is your problem?"

Well, as the two men enjoy a lingering kiss, it’s that Syed fancies him.
