Gemma Bissix voted off Dancing on Ice

Sobbing Gemma Bissix became the second celebrity to be booted off Dancing On Ice last night. The 25-year-old former EastEnders actress wept as she was unanimously voted off by the panel of five judges. Gemma, who calls herself a Dancing On Ice superfan, revealed afterwards she had broken down in training four times during the week. She said: "I’m gutted. I just wanted to do another routine. I hadn’t cried once in about three years but I’ve cried about four times in the last week." Gemma, who wore a dazzling pink dress, had gone head to head with glamour model Melinda Messenger in a skate-off. The actress and her partner Andrei Lipanov had skated to Celine Dion’s The Power of Love in their first performance, but scored just 13 out of a possible total of 30. Only the six female celebrities skated this week. The seven male contestants had their first turn on the ice last week, when ex-footballer Graeme Le Saux became the first celebrity to be kicked off.
