Kat to cheat on Alfie
Haven't we been here before? Who's the mystery man this time?
Kat Moon (played by Jessie Wallace) is set to return to Walford, and to celebrate coming back to Albert Square, EastEnders’ writers have written a shock storyline which will see her cheat on her much-loved husband Alfie (Shane Ritchie) with a mystery lover.
TV bosses are so keen to keep the identity of Kat’s fling a mystery, that they haven’t even shared the secret with the other cast members!
However EastEnders’ insiders have revealed that there are five characters in the frame, including Ray Dixon, Michael Moon and Branning family members Max, Derek and Jack.
The feisty Queen Vic landlady, who returns to the show tomorrow night (June 7), apparently will start the affair because her feelings for Alfie have faded away.
A BBC insider told The Sun: “Kat returns but she soon feels the spark has fizzled out with Alfie. She finds it hard to resist when someone else showers her with affection. Kat tries to call off her affair but she finds her mystery lover impossible to resist.”
The source added: “Viewers will be left guessing who Kat’s mystery man is.”
Jessie Wallace, who is now dating musican Tim Arnold, has been absent from the show for several months following her traumatic split from fiancé Vince Morse, after EastEnders bosses granted the actress time off to recover.

Here we go again. I say bring back the golden scripts of Kat and Alfie yester-year by Tony Jordan they dont need to make Kat cheat again! Be imaginative EE and get the thinking caps on and write some good stuff and give us what the fans want ie Kalfie togetherness.

Why don't they just keep her away if they can't come up with a better storyline. I mean really, is she that boring?? Sadly EEs is getting a bit stale lately. It's the same regurgitated stories every year. I don't care to see Kat feeling guilty about cheating on Alfie anymore. Yawn! So is Sharon coming back to find the love of her life again just to lose it all and go running back to Michelle in the states? If so, just keep her in the States. I can write these stories now they repeat so much.

This is boring now. Kat really annoys me. She cries an sobs over Alfie and is scared he don't love her anymore, when all he does is everything to make her happy and to feel special. Then she cheats on him, tells him and sobs and feels so guilty and she is the one who fears Alfie don't love her? She comes back and cheats again. I think EE should do us a favor, shoot Kat in the head and be done with it. She can't annoy me anymore.
Kat and Alfie are the best
Kat and Alfie are the best thing on eastenders they deserve happiness. I think it should come out that Alfie is really Tommy's dad and that they have another baby and they are happy.
