Matt talks life after Walford
Take to the dancefloor in Strictly or a feature film?
Matt Lapinskas has recently taken part in an interview with BBC Radio 1's Sara Cox where he talked about his plans after he leaves the soap in the Autumn. The BBC recently announced his axing.
On his time in EastEnders, Matt said: "It's been a great year. Obviously I'm leaving in a little while - I should be on screen until about September time - but I've loved my year there."
Matt told Sara: "My ideal job? I'd love to go off and do some great films. I'd love to work with Guy Ritchie, that's putting it out there."
Failing that, he also said he's keen to take to the dancefloor and sign up for the next series of Strictly Come Dancing, following in the footsteps of former EastEnders actors such as Kara Tointon, Matt Di Angelo, Letitia Dean, Anita Dobson and more.
On this, he added: "That would be an absolute pleasure."
"I love shaking down and whacking some moves out (on the dancefloor). It'd be good trying to do the classical ballroom and stuff."
