Lytton interested in Enders return

Louisa Lytton tells Inside Soap that she would be interested in returning to EastEnders

Louisa Lytton has revealed that she would be interested in returning to EastEnders.

The actress starred as Ruby Allen in the soap for over a year between March 2005 and November 2006.

Of a potential return to Walford, Lytton told Inside Soap: "I love the thought of going back to the Square - even if it was for a week for old times' sake.

"From a personal point of view, it would be nice to show Ruby as an adult. People walked all over her and she cried all the time - so I'd like to see her return to Walford as a hard-faced bitch!"

During her time in Albert Square, Ruby struck up a friendship with Stacey Slater and enjoyed a brief romance with Stacey's brother Sean Slater. The character left the soap when her relationships with the Slater siblings turned sour.

Since leaving EastEnders Lytton participated in the fourth series of Strictly Come Dancing and in 2007 joined the cast of The Bill as PC Beth Green. More recently she signed up for a touring production of The Vagina Monologues which opens on September 20th.
