In an interview with All About Soap, Jake Wood talks about Max and Tanya's affair storyline.
EastEnders star Jake Wood has expressed excitement over upcoming twists in the show's Max and Tanya affair storyline.
Viewers have recently seen Max and Tanya give in to temptation and begin a passionate affair while their partners Vanessa and Greg remain oblivious.
Wood who has played the role of Max since 2006 has promised that there will be a big twist in store for fans.
Speaking to All About Soap, he teased: "There's a big twist and the reveal of the affair and the fallout from that will just be the start of another chapter.
"The storyline with Max and Tanya cheating on their partners with each other builds to a point, and then it goes somewhere else entirely. It's going to be very exciting."
The actor also revealed that fans can expect a change in direction for Vanessa when she finds out that Max has betrayed her.
He added: "There are some big things ahead for Vanessa. She's not a lady to be crossed."
