Moon Brothers won’t be grim, says Tony Discipline

Tyler and Anthony Moon will be the latest in a long line of fraternal duos to hit Albert Square later this year, and actor Tony Discipline who plays young Tyler has been telling Digital Spy what viewers can expect from their relationship.

‘Tyler absolutely worships Anthony,’ he revealed. ‘Anthony is Tyler’s older brother and he’s always there for him.

‘There’s no resentment there at all, it’s just pure brotherly love. They really care about each other and you couldn't separate them!’

And it appears the new Moons have been gleaning valuable advice from one half of the soap’s best known double-act, Steve McFadden. Describing the veteran EastEnder as ‘absolutely brilliant’, Discipline added, ‘Obviously after having such success with the Mitchell Brothers, Steve has been guiding me and Matt [Lapinskas] with a few tips.

‘That's not to say that we're going to be anything like the Mitchell brothers, because we're the Moon brothers, but he has been giving us tips and advice and he's been great.’

Tony Discipline will make his Walford debut next week, when he joins on-screen dad Eddie Moon (David Essex), and Matt Lapinskas will be following later this summer.
