Ashley Chubb is on the way

EastEnders are currently looking to expand Fatboy’s family, with the news that they are casting his father, Ashley Chubb, who will be appearing on screen in late spring.

Fatboy has been something of a mystery since his appearance as part of the spin-off E20, with little known about his family or upbringing.

All of that is likely to change though when Ashley arrives as a result of difficulties in his personal life and comes to stay with his son. What will Fatboy do when he realises his dad’s life has been turned upside-down, and is Fatboy at all like his father?

An insider adds "Fatboy has been a real hit with viewers and the bosses have decided that it’s now time to bring in his dad so people can see what Fatboy is really all about."

An EastEnders spokesperson confirmed, "We are currently casting for Fatboy’s dad, Ashley Chubb, who will appear on screen in spring."
