Fragile Stacey stunned by Bradders twice-over

Bradley drops a double-bombshell on Stacey in an upcoming episode of EastEnders and then learns one of Stacey’s secrets.

First up, he tells her that he’s planning to move to Toronto with new girlfriend Syd Chambers – a move that on the face of it, Stacey encourages, she’s then devastated when Bradley tells her that making her abort their baby was the biggest regret of his life.

The two of them have an emotional conversation when they end up locked in a room together during a game at Amira Shah’s party.

“Stacey can’t take it all in and has mixed emotions," says Lacey Turner, who plays her.

"Bradley confides in her about his feelings and fears of responsibility, but it’s all too much."

Bradley’s upset to see Stacey taking a tablet and thinks she’s taking drugs, but Stacey ends up confiding in him that she’s bi-polar. The next day though, she goes off the rails again when their divorce papers come through, and a broken-hearted Stacey comes off her medication.

"She doesn’t want the medication to control her life," explains Lacey.

"But her illness is making her future look uncertain and hazy."
