Big surprise on the cards, says Laurie

Speaking to Inside Soap, the actress, who plays Jane Beale hinted that her character’s marriage troubles are far from over.

Jane has been plotting against husband Ian since discovering that he lied about daughter Lucy having a miscarriage but now she will reveal a new plan to her brother Christian.

Brett said: "It does all lead to a big crescendo and there’s a hell of a big surprise along the way."

"I do hope they can weather the storm, because at the end of the day, Jane is the only woman for Ian."

"She loves him and that will never change - but she can’t stand him sometimes!"
