Dot racks up her half century

 The Square rally round Walford's favourite washer woman.

Dot is surprised by a party to celebrate her 50th anniversary of working in the laundrette, after she thinks everyone has forgotten about it. Fatboy and Heather, amongst others make her feel special and surprise her with a short trip away to Ireland and a plaque to commemorate her 50 year service.

An EastEnders insider added, "After 50 years of washing the residents of Albert Squares smalls, Dot is really disappointed when she thinks that everyone has forgotten about her anniversary, but unbeknownst to her they've planned a surprise party and gifts including a holiday to the Green Isle"
