Max and Vanessa's engagement party

It is the day of Vanessa and Max's enagagement party and Vanessa has everything planned to perfection. Tanya and Greg arrive and Tanya looks stunning but Greg lets on she’s been getting ready for hours much to Max’s pleasure. Greg soon announces that he and Tanya are now trying for a baby and Max watches her realising she’s not entirely enamoured with the idea. Max soon makes a speech and presents Vanessa with an expensive diamond ring.  Tanya looks on, clearly jealous, but Vanessa is delighted.  Later, Tanya and Max talk and he teases her about her jealousy. Tanya denies it but Max tells her he knows she can’t stand the idea of him marrying someone else.

"Max deliberately pulls out all the stops to make Tanya jealous at the party. Vanessa is oblivious to this and thinks that Max has finally put Tanya behind him. When Max senses that Tanya isn't completely comfortable with the idea of starting a family with Greg, he can't resist rubbing his engagement in Tanya's face, hoping to get a reaction. "
