Syed's life hangs in the balance

It's the night of Tamwar and Afia's Mangni (engagement party) and plans are in full swing.  Greg tries to fix the damage at the Argee Bhajee before that night's celebrations but he warns Masood the extension is dangerous and the restaurant should be closed until it has been repaired.  Masood foolishly decides to ignore his advice and go ahead with the party.

That night, Syed shows up to lend his support to his little brother.  Masood and Zainab tell Syed and Christian to leave as they are not welcome. An argument ensues and in the midst of this the ceiling of the restaurant suddenly gives way, burying the guests in a cloud of dust and debris.

Syed is buried in the rubble trapped by a large piece of plasterboard. He tells Christian he is ok but as he does so, the roof beam above him starts to move and come away from the wall, suddenly it crashes down on top of Syed. Will he survive?

An insider adds "Determined to save face and continue with the party, Masood goes against all the advice Greg gives him.  However this proves to be a perilous decision when the roof collapses, leaving eldest son Syed buried in the rubble.  Although they are estranged Masood and Zainab are terribly worried about their son.  Things look like they are in a pretty bad way, can Syed be saved?"
