E20 Episode 8 - Aftermath and Fallout

So who’s the daddy? Find out in the review of episode 7.

A day late as the wonders of the internet don’t always work as well as they could, but here’s the review of Wednesday 20th January’s episode of E20, better known as Episode 8.

Well, if nothing else they’re getting longer again. A whole 7 minutes and 22 seconds. Unfortunately - for me, the longer episode didn’t mean the quality of the piece went up. It wasn’t a favourite episode of mine.

There were some highlights to it. The appearance of "Sugar Batty" herself, Mrs Olubunmi, Mercy’s grandmother, who looked nowhere near old enough to be her gran. And she seemed to be written like a bad stereotype character from Little Miss Jocelyn to boot.

Fatboy, well after being less annoying, has gone back into full blown moron mode, complete with lines that need their own translator (and in fact I didn’t understand at least one sentence of what he came out with). But he did get yet another fantastic Fatboy line, "What else are you hiding Merce? Are you even Nigerian?"

Leon and Zsa Zsa were like spare parts in the episode, and Zsa Zsa’s deluded statement, "it’s my flat", well that beggared belief. And Tamwar, well he was like a fish out of water. Even more so than usual.

And no prizes for the reveal of the episode, Ben’s the daddy. Shock ... horror ... not.

Episode 9’s available already, but I can’t stand two episodes in one night. so watch this space.
