Tanya is struggling to cope and the family, not realising what is really wrong, all presume she is drinking too much.

With the pressure building, Tanya panics and rather than admit the truth she turns on her family telling them what she thinks of them all but she is shocked when a familiar face returns demanding to know what is going on.

Elsewhere, Lola drops a bombshell on Billy and he seeks help from Pat.

In detail: 

Struggling to cope, Tanya continues not to confide in anyone. Cora is concerned the children are running wild while Abi feels ignored by her mother.  Abi asks again for a new pair of shoes she wants, and Tanya snaps at her to use her initiative. When Abi points out that Lauren didn't come home last night which her mum hadn't noticed, Tanya starts to panic. Cora takes charge, sending Tanya to work while she and Rainie search for Lauren.

Back at the house, Tanya fears the worst when a police car arrives. However, it's actually Abi they're bringing home for shoplifting a pair of shoes.  Tanya loses her temper and storms off. While Cora and Rainie discuss the situation, they are shocked to find a positive pregnancy test in Abi's bag.  Tanya returns home to apologise to Abi for shouting, but loses it again when Cora shows her the pregnancy test. The family start questioning Tanya about her recent behaviour and she turns on them, feeling trapped. But they are all stunned when a voice interrupts Tanya mid-rant - Max is back.

Meanwhile, Lauren is ashamed to wake up in a stranger's bed with no memory of the night before, and decides to sort herself out. Going to see her mum at the hospital, Lauren is horrified to discover Tanya has been missing her appointments.

Elsewhere, Dot discovers Rose's passport has a different name on it; Lola refuses to consider Pat's suggestion of an abortion; and Abi wonders if Jay could be the father of Lola's baby.
