Spoiler Watch: BBC Week 9

The extended Branning family comes together.

Here’s our rundown of the new set of Spoilers, for the episodes which will air in the first week of March.

First up, Lucy Beale, who seems to be having all sorts of tantrums whenever babies are mentioned. Mmmm, the spoiler we published a little while back about someone being pregnant couldn’t possibly be true could they? I have a sneaking feeling that Lucy’s pregnancy could be the result (and baby) that Jane has been wanting for several months now.

It’s nice to see the Lucas story continue on the back burner, with the re-arrival of Owen’s mum Liz on the scene. She’s doing her own brand of detective work and learns that Owen’s mobile phone hasn’t been used for quite a while. I want to know how Patrick helps her learn that piece of information though, as he’s hardly either (a) a master hacker or (b) a Police mole with access to insider information. Seems a bit odd.

But the main event, and I’ve deliberately made sure it goes "beneath the fold" on the home page (well, on the home page we have until the weekend anyway). Sadly it seems that Bradley has popped his clogs. The Sun’s original rumour and funeral order-of-service (which were hotly denied by the BBC) showed that Bradley’s funeral was going to be on Friday 5 March, and from reading these spoilers ("Max is devastated", "Carol is determined to get her brother through a difficult day" etc) it seems likely we’re going to a funeral on the Friday.

I’m intrigued to see how Carol and Billy will pan out when they go on a date. A bit of light relief always went down a treat, especially in a heavy week such as this one.
