Preeya Kalidas has revealed that she would consider a return to EastEnders in the future.
Kalidas joined the soap last year to play unlucky-in-love Amira Shah but quit the role earlier this year to focus on her music commitments. The actress and singer recently released her debut single ’Shimmy’.
Speaking of the track to BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat, Kalidas said "For me just having the opportunity to get it released and get it out there is amazing. So I’m just enjoying the ride - we’ll see where it takes me."
On a potential return to Walford, she added "I had an amazing time on the show and being part of such a powerful, interesting, controversial storyline.
"But would I go back? Never say never. She [Amira] deserves to go back after what she has been through."
