EastEnders Confirm Tameka Empson Return

EastEnders bosses have confirmed a new addition to the soap, Jodie Gold, played by actress Kylie Babbington.

Jodie will first appear in Walford in search of her mum (fellow newcomer Vanessa played by Zoe Lucker) and her arrival doesn’t go unnoticed by Darren Miller who takes an immediate shine to her.

"I’m really excited about Kylie taking on the role of Jodie. She brings yet more fresh energy to the show - she’s a ray of sunshine." Executive Producer Bryan Kirkwood told Digital Spy.

Mother and daughter duo Jodie and Vanessa make their first appearance in the soap next month.
