So, an innocuous looking thread appeared in our Forums yesterday, entitled "Another Returnee". An intriguing start to a Sunday morning, I’m sure you’ll agree. What we didn’t expect was the way that the thread would grow like topsy over the next 24 hours until it became a beast with a life of its own.

OK, here’s the analysis of the final two categories in the 2009 Awards, the "Least Favourite Storyline" and "Most Missed Character".

As you get older, it seems that everywhere you look people are having babies and procreating like it’s going out of fashion.

EastEnders is no different, but as has been pointed out frequently on the Forums, why is there’s no such thing as a planned pregnancy in EastEnders - it’s always either a whodunnit mystery, or a love triangle, or a random stranger you’d never have thought of impregnating someone equally random (cf.
