In detail

Outside the Vic Pat is pulling down the For Sale sign with Peggy’s encouragement. Zainab asks if the Vic is back in business. Peggy replies that it was never out of business. Phil is going to visit Ben and he has a book about boxing and some CDs to give him. He tells Louise that Peggy will look after her while he is gone. Phil takes Louise round to Peggy who tells him that Roxy has decided not to sell the pub after all. Pat, Peggy and Louise sit at the kitchen table. Pat asks how long Peggy is going to keep up her act when Roxy arrives and apologises for not telling Peggy. However despite this, Roxy is resolute, she is selling the pub. After everything that has happened at the Vic, she feels she is doing the right thing. Roxy says that she has potential buyers looking round the pub later and Peggy is devastated.

Louise comes up with a plan - they’ll make the Vic look a mess so that no one will want to buy it. Peggy is reluctant at first but then realises that this might be their only hope. Pat, Peggy and Louise start making a mess in the bar. Pat suggests they bring in some unsavoury clientele to further put off potential buyers. Meanwhile Roxy is on her phone to the estate agents, she’s determined to sell the Vic.

Liz arrives and Patrick offers to accompany them to the funeral but Liz says she just wants it to be her and Libby leaving Patrick feeling rejected.

Patrick finds Jordan at the Community Centre. Jordan asks if Lucas was really his father - he can’t believe the awful things Lucas has done. Jordan feels he should pray and forgive Lucas but he can’t. He asks where he should go now that he is no longer part of the family with Lucas gone. Patrick reminds him that neither is he related to the others, but family means more than that. Patrick comforts Jordan and promises to be there for him.
